Inglés en Guianza Turística Ficha 2825142

The SENA Bilingualism Program is an excellent option to learn English and improve your job opportunities. This program is designed to adapt to different levels of knowledge and has a clear and progressive structure.

How many levels are there?

The SENA English Does Work program has 13 levels, ranging from level 1 (basic) to level 13. Each level is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which guarantees that you acquire the necessary skills at each stage. In tourist guidance, we start with basic level A1 and continue up to level B1.

What is taught at each level?

Each level focuses on developing different language skills, such as:

Oral and written comprehension: You will learn to understand and produce texts in English on various topics.

Oral and written expression: You will practice communication in English in different contexts, both formal and informal.

Grammar: You will study the grammatical structures of English progressively.

Vocabulary: You will expand your English vocabulary and learn to use it effectively.

Why is the CEFR important?

The CEFR is an international standard that describes the different levels of proficiency in a foreign language. By aligning its levels with the CEFR, SENA guarantees that the learning acquired in its courses is recognized internationally.

How are the levels related?

Broadly speaking, this is the relationship between the levels of the SENA and the CEFR:

Initial levels (A1 and A2): They correspond to the basic levels of the CEFR. In these stages, you will acquire the most fundamental vocabulary and grammatical structures to communicate in everyday situations.

Intermediate levels (B1 and B2): These levels will allow you to communicate more fluidly and autonomously in a variety of situations, both personally and professionally.

Advanced levels (C1 and C2): The highest levels of SENA will prepare you to use English almost natively, both in formal and informal situations.

In the Tourist Guidance program, we address levels from A1 to Level B1, which makes us competent to maintain a conversation, especially with a vocabulary focused on local and international tourism.
